Event TV Inc., a Miami based company specializing in red carpet arrivals with a live television feel, was on hand for the “Annual Hollywood Welcomes the Stars” benefiting the Marti Huizenga Boys & Girls Club Hollywood Unit at the Diplomat Hotel and Spa. ETV Inc.,  brought a real taste of Hollywood to the event by creating the ultimate red carpet arrival area complete with red carpet, velvet ropes and stanchions, plasma TV and video crew. Chris Cruz was on hand to interview the stars as they made their way down the red carpet.  Inside, the arrival of celebrity guests was projected on 10 x 10 foot screens that flanked the stage.

For the reception, ETV provided camera coverage of the live auction, special presentations and comments from the celebrities. Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County brought Event TV onboard because they were looking for something to, “bring the event up a level.”  “The concept definitely made our event a great one, said Brent Spechler, event coordinator. Event TV, Inc. donated their services for the evening, joining a proud list of area sponsors.

Another new addition to the event this year was the live webcast of the evening’s festivities on the Boy’s and Girl’s Club website, www.bgcbc.org. Webcast services were provided by Diversity Broadband tv, an Internet based video production company out of Los Angeles. DBtv producer Skip Belyea was in town to escort his wife Dee Wallace, one of the evening’s celebrities. Working with ETV, Skip was able to get the show online in less than 24 hours.
